| Cartifact has revamped the design of MapQuest's online mapping system, giving it a clean, concise cartographic look combined with detailed vegetation and earth surface data. The resulting effect aims to bring back the artistic quality and craftsmanship of a | world atlas while utilizing cutting-edge modern technology. The update was launched for North America in October 2009, while updates of other continents are planned for the future. Cartifact completed a redesign for Yahoo!'s online maps in 2006. |
